Well, my friend, "It is August and no news is really coming out anyway." no longer applies, because it is September, but primarily because of the new Russian succession plans Putin has come up with. In the West, comments are all over the place, and I would very much like to hear your take as to what this means for Russia, and secondarily what this means for the West.
